\n\t\tHayward Gardens towards the middle of the Ashburton South Estate provides two potential development sites.\n\t<\/h3>\n\t

The first site, Hayward Gardens West, borders Hayward Gardens to the north and an access road to the east. At present, there is a play area, a phone box, storage lockers, a substation and parking spaces on site.<\/p>\n

The second site, Hayward Gardens East, borders Hayward Gardens to the north and an access road to the east and south. All figures, diagrams, images, and plans shown are not final and are subject to change as the design process progresses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The detailed proposals for the sites at Hayward Gardens would involve demolishing the existing phone box, storage lockers, and substations and removing the parking spaces to deliver around 44 new high-quality homes with enhanced outdoor spaces across the two sites and a local play area. It is proposed that there would be 22 new homes for council rent on each Hayward Gardens site.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\"Hayward\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\tThank you for taking the time to visit our consultation website to learn more about the detailed proposals for five sites within the Ashburton South Estate as part of the Homes for Wandsworth programme.\n\t<\/h3>\n

Over the past few months, the team has been hard at work developing the detailed proposals for the sites and we presented them on 15 September 2023 at our second public exhibition. If you couldn’t attend or would like to view the materials again, they are available in the Downloads<\/a><\/strong> section.<\/p>\n

The comment period on our details proposals has now closed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the planning applications are submitted later this year, you will have the opportunity to comment on the proposals through Wandsworth Council’s (as the local planning authority) planning portal. This website will be updated with the planning applications’ reference numbers after they have been submitted and validated. We will also email the project update contact list with the same details, so please make sure to register for project updates if you would like to stay up to date.<\/p>\n
